A boutique luxury team for clients who refuse the ordinary.
Haus Theory Collective is led by James and Kate Greenwalt, a husband-and-wife real estate team based in Scottsdale, Arizona. We represent buyers, sellers, and investors across the Valley, with a particular focus on architecturally considered homes from $500,000 to $7 million and above.
Our approach is deliberately small. We take on a limited slate of clients each quarter so that every listing is creatively directed, every buyer is personally educated, and every contract is negotiated by a principal, not a junior associate.
James brings two decades of sales and negotiation experience to the practice and is consistently rated 5.0 across 15 verified Zillow reviews. Kate leads the team's creative direction, including photography, staging, and the brand work that has come to define the Haus Theory aesthetic.
Proudly affiliated with
Compass is the largest independent residential real estate brokerage in the United States. Our affiliation gives every Haus Theory client access to the Compass private exclusives network, the Compass Concierge pre-listing program, and a national referral network of more than 28,000 agents.
Every Haus Theory client works directly with James, Kate, or both, from intake through closing. We cap our active engagements each quarter at a number that allows for personally directed photography, personally written marketing, and personally led negotiation on every listing and every offer. Most large teams cannot promise this.
When you hire us you are not handed off to a transaction coordinator after the offer is accepted. We attend the inspections. We sit in on the appraisals. We respond to your texts ourselves.
Our Compass affiliation gives us access to the largest agent network and technology platform in residential real estate, while our boutique scale gives our clients the kind of attention that has become rare at any size.
We respond to every inquiry within one business day. There is no obligation and no template response.
